Watermelon Weekend Returns to Keel Farms With Family-Friendly Summer Fun

Plant City, FL : Keel Farms invites the community to celebrate summer during its annual Watermelon Weekend on June 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy two days of watermelon-themed fun, family-friendly activities, local vendors, food trucks, and more.
Admission to the festival is free, and parking is available for $10 per vehicle. The event is open to guests of all ages and is pet-friendly, making it a great way for families and friends to spend a summer weekend together.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the weekend, including:
• Watermelon eating contests
• Bounce houses and water slides
• Kid zones
• A petting zoo and camel rides
• Flower U-Pick
• Local vendors
• Food trucks
• Watermelons, watermelon cups, and watermelon hot sauce for sale
• Seasonal wines and ciders
The fun continues in the evening with a Bingo Night fundraiser benefiting Florida Giant Dog Rescue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can purchase 10 bingo tickets for $10 and compete for prizes. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Florida Giant Dog Rescue to help support its mission of rescuing and rehoming giant breed dogs

Please note that food will be available exclusively through food trucks during the festival. Traditional table service and reservations will not be available. Guests are welcome to enjoy open seating throughout the property, including the dining room, patio, and backyard areas.
